We are headed home after dropping our boys off. Definitely bittersweet. We are excited to start the next chapter in our lives, but I’m also mourning this one a bit.
The one where my kids were about to all be in school full time. Where I could take a shower whenever I wanted. Where kids slept through the night. Where we had a groove and eveything worked and meshed.
While I’m optimistic we will get to that point again, I know for right now the future holds a whole lot of unknown. And as much as I’ve learned to flex and adapt, at the end of the day, I don’t like change.
Once I get on the plane, excitement will come, and I’ll allow myself to believe that this is FINALLY happening. But for now the heartache of leaving my boys and the stress of what still needs to get done is weighing heavy.
I’ll be updating here and on our Facebook page as we travel. Thirty six hours and we are China bound!
